Position 1 : QA Lead/Tester

Locations: St. Louis, MO/ Charlotte NC

Duration: 6-12 Months

H1b copy required

Note: Candidate must be open for both the location also candidates need to travel initially to Herndon, VA & Tempa, FL for which client will be covering their expenses. 

Job Description:

• Responsible for writing, monitoring, executing and evaluating applications tests using industry standard automated testing tools namely HP Quick Test Professional / UFT & Selenium tools and Java.
  
• Candidate should have 5-6+ years with QTP & VB Scripting. 
  
• Responsible for setting up data and databases to support integrated test environments. 
  
• Ability to lead, mentor and train less senior staff members. 
  
• Create and distribute daily/weekly status reports to management on work and issues found during test. 
  
• Develop test plans, provide testing estimates for future projects and represent the test team in project status meeting and communicate issues appropriately. 
  
• Coordinate and manage a single application project from a test perspective, including assigned resources and testing progress. 
  
• Compiles and analyzes metrics on testing activities and generate testing status reports during the testing phase. 
  
• Strong analytical (ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. ), organizational and communication skills. 
  
• Extensive expertise in HP Quick Test Professional not limited to record and playback only. 
  
• Good scripting skills in languages like VBScript, JAVA and C. 
  
• Knowledge of SOA methodology and Web service testing using any automated testing tool.
  

Position 2 : QA ERP- Tester

Location: Charlotte, NC

Duration: 6-12 Months

H1b copy required

Key : HRMS/Peoplesoft/Finance/FICO

Responsibilities :

• Test applications by: reviewing existing and newly-submitted tests for correctness and usability, creating new tests were missing, updating, improving, and correcting tests where necessary
  
• Encouraging community involvement and collaboration in the creation and use of the test suite.
  
• Write comprehensive test plans and corresponding test cases for basic components and features.
  
• Find bugs and apply engineering rigor to reproduce and diagnose those bugs, write concise and descriptive bug reports and present test results to other project stakeholders clearly and effectively

Minimum Qualifications :

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Good working knowledge of one or more programming/scripting languages
