Sr. PMO/Scrum Master
Our mission
We are seeking a talented PMO/Scrum Master to join our new digital start-up business. As an industry leading life science & technology company, we seek to solve the most challenging problems facing scientists today. Our team is working at the intersection of digital and science to develop a lab management platform with the aim of speeding up the scientific process from discovery through commercialization, by reducing many of the manual processes that occur in various lab environments today.
Purpose of the Role
As part of this new digital business venture, you will have the opportunity to work in a face-paced, entrepreneurial environment to help shape our product strategy and vision. The ideal leader will help us drive innovation, generate new or unique solutions, collaborate with customers and other stakeholders and help us ensure the project is working smoothly and every team member has tools to get their work done efficiently. The Sr. PMO/Scrum master will be required to work within our global organization and interface with many different parts of the company (Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Engineering, etc.). This role will work with multiple development teams to build scalable software.
Key Accountabilities
- Scrum master is responsible for facilitating daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demos and retrospective meetings.
- Help the product owner to shape the product backlogs and prepare them for the next sprint.
- Needs to be an expert in estimation and planning. Knows how to create useful, reliable and practical plans for software development projects.
- Should be a good coach in Agile practices. Can coach individuals and interactions over processes and tools.
- Help team or individual to clarify goals and actions to achieve them.
- Ability to shield his team from outside distractions and interferences.
- Ability to ensure the correct use of scrum process.
- Ability to track and remove impediments.
Prefered Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience of Scrum Management and Agile Experience
- Should be a friendly, communicative person because when team is moving fast, communication is the effective force which holds the team together.
- Planning Experience
- Stakeholder Management, Negotiation & Communication Skills
- JIRA/JAMA experience preferred
