Job Title: Sr Java Developer

Location : NY (Local Only))

Duration  6+ Months

Two rounds of Interview

1^st round Skype with coding test in basics

2^nd round In-depth coding test in person interview

Technical qualifications:

- 8+ years of continuous server-side software development experience; preferably with exposure to a Software as a Service (SaaS) business model

- Experience in designing and implementing scalable, reliable, distributed software systems using Objected Oriented design in Jav.

- Deep knowledge of concurrency, resiliency, caching, HTTP and REST

- 4+ years hands-on experience in areas such as J2EE, XML, Web Services (SOAP and REST) and SOA

- Experience with NoSQL Databases such as Redis

- Knowledge of Java Spring Framework

- 4+ year of experience with Message Queues and related tools

- Familiarity with using and managing source control tool like Git

- Experience with testing tools such as JUnit

- Exposure to CD/CI tools

- Deep understanding of good software design patterns mixed with a healthy passion for refactoring and keeping things simple

- Strong Computer Science skills. Must understand the core principles of OO design & development and how to apply them in a highly scaled environment

 

Nice to haves:

- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS)

- Experience with DynamoDB

- Experience with Kafka/Kinesis
