Duration: 6 Months+
Rate: $55/Hr
4 + years of Hadoop experience is good but candidate must have strong Map Reduce experience and experiencing fixing issues with Map Reduce ON HIS/HER OWN. This person will be working on his own on a high level project.
· Almost 4 years development and Admin experience (over 9 years total development experience)
· Utility Industry experience (latest project at Southern California Edison)
· Strong knowledge of data warehousing technologies in Big Data
· Cloudera Certified
· Strong backend experience with MapReduce, Spark, Hive and HBASE
· Technical and functional knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem
· Experience with Eclipse and XML
· Experienced in designing and developing HDFS based solutions in Hive
· Programming experience in Hive QL
· Shell script and Python experience
· Pre-processing experience using Hive and Pig
· Experienced with Teradata
· Experienced writing Sqoop jobs
· Strong experience working with client staff on system and functional requirements
· Excellent communication skills
