Job Title: Lead Front End Developer / NodeJS Developer

Location: Richfield, MN (Locals MUST)

Duration: 6+ Months

Must have Lead experience.

60 Minutes In-Person Interview

Need to do a Codility Test (JavaScript) -that will be administered after the 60 min in person interview

Submissions should be made along with the answers to the 3 questions given below.

 

Looking for an experienced Front End Developer. In this role, you will enhance the use of NodeJS on the company's website by creating and maintaining new sharable libraries, optimizing performance, and providing guidance to the team on how to best run NodeJS in production.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

•            Enhance the use of NodeJS on the company's website.

•            Create and maintain new sharable libraries.

•            Optimize performance.

•            Provide guidance to the Ops teams on how to best run NodeJS in production.

•            Front-end development (sometimes unrelated to NodeJS).

 

MUST HAVE SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

•            JavaScript experience with multiple modern frameworks.

•            Experience with other programming language(s)

•            Strong experience using the command line (Linux/OS X based)

•            Experience creating and running NodeJS applications in a production environment

•            Technical knowledge in web development

 

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

•            Experience as a Lead developer

•            Retail or eCommerce experience

•            Experience working with all levels of an organization

•            Strong collaboration and communication skills

 

CLIENT REQUIRED QUESTIONS

1.             What is the event loop in NodeJS?

2.            What are CommonJS and AMD and how do they defer?

3.            What is your favorite programming language? Why? (list three reasons)
