QA Engineer

Location: Basking Ridge, NJ (Need locals only)

Duration: 12 Months+

Rate: $45/Hr

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, test cases and test scripts based on evolving use cases and product requirements

• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities

• Perform concurrent testing activities in multiple environments (web, Android, iOS)

• Identify, report and track defects

• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools

• Perform thorough regression testing when issues

• Conduct exploratory testing on evolving leading-edge product with a special focus on quality of user experience

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

• 5+ years' experience working as a QA engineer

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, processes and best practices

• Experience writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts

• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing

• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

• Knowledge of SQL and scripting

• Experience with JIRA tools

• Experience with performance and/or security testing

• Experience with testing video applications

• Experience with testing on mobile devices
