Job Title: Java Developer (Load Balancer)
Location: San Jose, CA (Locals Only)
Duration: 12+ months contract
 
Job Description

Requirements
• Understanding of coding best practices in Java and/or Python.
• Experience with REST services
• Basic understanding of JSON encode/decode operations
• Basics of Load Balancer including F5s, A10 and AVI Vantage.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• How to co-ordinate and work in a team environment.
• Learn and practice critical thinking and decision making in a fast-paced environment.
• Corporate culture.

Primary Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of senior infrastructure engineer develop tools that will interface with Infrastructure service that will be exposed via standardized REST API.
• Create CRUD interfaces to talk to PayPal CMS via Rest calls to provide consistent method of calling service.
• Collaborate with a diverse and talented team to maintain our world-class operations.
