Job Title: DB2 Developer/Programmer
Location: Trenton, NJ
Duration: 3+ Months
Experience Required
10 years of IBM DB2.
Position Description:
OIT supplemental DB2 Technical/Database support for upgrading DB2 Version 10 to Version 11. Maintain and support DB2 databases, providing backups, recoveries, and disaster recovery. Monitor space utilization for all DB2 databases, logs, etc. Monitor DB2 database fragmentation and perform reorgs when required. Provide logical and physical database design and implementation of physical DB structures into DB2 DBMS. Provide technical and lead Database support for OIT projects to facilitate successful completion of established goals. Daily core-hour on site support presence and on-call availability during off hours
Skills Required
IBM DB2 DBMS, DB2 connect, IBM Z/OS, IBM Utilities, IBM JCL, TSO
Skills Preferred
CA DB2 SYSVIEW monitoring. Understanding of NJ OIT business processes and operations.
Education Required
4 year college degree or equivalent technical study.
