Job Title: MY SQL DBA

Location: Atlanta,GA

Duration: 6-12 Months

Must be H1b and DL Copy.

The immediate needs MYSQL DBA. The data is in MYSQL now. 

Needs a VERY STRONG MYSQL DBA. 

Should also understand PENTAHO (ETL TOOL). 

Need to be fluent in MYSQL Database Administration. 

Operational blocking and tackling

 

Work Location: Near Suntrust Park with Some Remote Work - Atlanta GA

 

Job Description: Ruby on Rails, MYSQL, Datawarehouse (Pentaho)

Client is working at architecture level, millions of rows, database not being maintained, somebody to drop indexes and keep database tuned properly. 

Client is working as an assessment. Moving from SQL Server to Oracle. Should have migration experience from SQL to Oracle. Build datawarehouse in SQL Server or Azure.

Client's architecture review shows business is too large and inadequate in Pentaho. He recommended to moving to a more durable database. He forsees two to three more DBA's.

 

The immediate needs MYSQL DBA. The data is in MYSQL now. Needs a VERY STRONG MYSQL DBA. Should also understand 

PENTAHO (ETL TOOL). Need to be fluent in MYSQL Database Administration. Operational blocking and tackling.

 

SKILLS: PENTAHO-ETL tool/MYSQL Data Admin/Operational blocking & tackling

 

EXPERIENCE: 7-10yrs.
