Title: Lead .NET Developer

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Length: Long Term Contract

 

Responsibilities

 

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including: design, coding, integration testing, deployment and documentation. You will create and maintain new applications that are both internally and externally facing, relying heavily on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Prior experience designing and developing software solutions is expected.

Construct and maintain custom applications

Responsible for creating work estimates, technical project plans, and implementation plans

Work collaboratively within an agile project team

May assist in research on emerging development technologies, products, and processes

Follow best practices and coding standards

Grow your personal skillset as well as the skills of the team

 

Desired Skills/Job Qualifications

 

An associate degree or higher in a related area, preferred

Experience in Back-end web technologies

Experience creating visual design components a plus

Proficient in .NET Framework and C#

Familiar with distributed architecture and relational databases

Experience developing custom software

Demonstrated experience in IT concepts and practices

Understands the software development lifecycle and is familiar with more than one approach to software development

Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Good communication skills with a customer support orientation

Excellent problem-solving skills

Desire to develop in an Agile environment

Experience with Agile methodologies a plus

Familiar with application lifecycle management tools and source control
