Duration: Long Term Contract 

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Job Description:

 

The experience with Windows driver development is a must.

 

Minimum Requirements:

·         BS or MS in Computer science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering

·         3+ years of experience in C/C++ Kernel development in Windows or Linux

·         2+ years of experience with one the following:

·         Windows Mobile

·         Windows NT driver development,

·         NDIS (Network Driver Interface Specification ) networking drivers

·         2+ years of experience with one of the following:

·         WDM: Windows Driver Model

·         KMDF: Kernel Mode Driver Framework

·         UMDF Universal Driver Framework

·         1+ years of experience of Windows Mobile Broadband API

 

Preferred Requirements:

 

·         Good understanding of wireless protocols and standards.

·         Familiarity with telephony stack (Mobile broadband driver, services, protocols etc.) and RIL functionality.

 

Desired skills:

 

·         Experience with Telephony API on Windows and Linux.

·         Understanding of carrier requirements, and acceptance testing.

·         High level understanding of host<->modem communication: concepts related to different IPCs including functionality, protocols, power, performance etc.   

·         Ability to debug features on end-to-end telephony stack: host drivers and protocols + inter-processor link + modem radio interface.

·         Good understanding of networking stack, specifically TCP and UDP protocols – throughput analysis, optimizations for wireless networks, debugging issues.

·         Familiarity with telephony measurement equipment: Rohde & Schwarz, Spirent, Agilent, Anritsu etc.
