Position: AWS Migration Engineer with CloudEndure Experience

Location: Remote.

 

Shift Timings: 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM

 

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record as an AWS Migration Engineer who can design and migrate a data center to the AWS cloud. The individual in this role should have good experience in the migration of Data Centers to AWS and have a good understanding of the best practices of AWS Framework and is familiar with a multi-account strategy deployment using Control Tower/Landing Zone setup. Manage the day-to-day operations, troubleshoot problems, and provide routine maintenance, recommendations, and system health monitoring on the AMS cloud stack.

 

Qualifications:

●        At least 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role with exposure to cloud adoption and architecture.

●        At least 6 to 8 years of overall IT experience working for a global organization.

●        AWS - Solutions Architect Certification preferred

 

Technical Skills:

●        Strong expertise in AWS Migration it's and best practices.

●        Strong experience with lift and shift data center migration from VMware, Hyper-V stack.

●        Experience with CloudEndure or other similar third-party tools for migration, Backup & Disaster recovery.

●        Experience in MS SQL server migration to the cloud.

●        Experience, architecting, deploying, and managing RDS, EC2, EBS, snapshots, and FSx file sharing.

●        Understanding of AWS Multi-Account Strategy, Control Tower, and Landing Zone concept.

●        Good understanding of TCP/IP networking as well as Cloud Load Balancers, Route53, Security Groups, VPC's, VPN Gateways, Elastic IPs, Subnets, Route Tables, and NAT configuration.

●        Comfortable working with AWS CLI and knowledge of JSON and/or PowerShell scripting Experience on tagging, cost allocations, reporting, and budgeting.
