Role: BRM Analyst
 
Location: Hartford, CT
 
Duration: 6 months
 
Job Description:
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Understands business process analysis, design, and management, and their related IT requirements. Drives the definition, optimization, improvement, and approved changes to new and existing business processes. Ensures IT solutions meet user’s business requirements. Provides delivery of training and training material as required.
 
Key Activities:
 
Conducts business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses to align IT solutions with business initiatives
Works closely with business users to define and analyze problems and figure out the most suitable technical, application or configuration solutions
Assists in defining project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming project teams; establishing project budgets
Works with Architects and Developers to translate business requirements into functional / technical specs
Assists in validating business and technical requirements are met during the project delivery process
Assists in overseeing user acceptance testing (UAT) activities to ensure business and system requirements are met
Assists both innovation and strategy development with subject matter expertise, when appropriate
Creates, reviews and delivers end-user documentation (user guide, process flow charts, training materials) and training for accuracy
Serve as a team member between Global IT & Global Tools & Storage business
Partner with representatives of the business & Global IT to deliver IT solutions to advance the strategic roadmap/goals of the business.
Works collaboratively with the business and global IT to develop clear and concise communications with respect to incidents, problems, and change management.
Track and document stakeholder's satisfaction, IT services consumed, and service level reporting.
Manage risks in the assigned area and drive overall system stability and IT services improvement.

Dependent on Role, a functional knowledge of:
 
Systems/capabilities like SAP/Oracle
Engineering systems such as Windchill/Catia
CRM/Digital Systems like Salesforce or CMS, PIM capabilities supporting websites
