Role: Snowflake DBALocation: RemoteLong termCore Responsibilities: Perform Administrative tasks like but not limited to, DDL creation, user creation, account level parameter changes etc within Snowflake Database. Responsible to integrate Snowflake Database with SAML or OpenID Provider for Authentication Create Snowflake utilization and Capacity Plan for general housekeeping as well as for peak period. Understand Snowflake best practices & considerations for managing load operations and performance which will aid in creating right size Snowflake warehouses. Implement Data Masking policies to protect PII/PCI Data. Create and Manage multiple accounts across the Organization. Practical knowledge of Time Travel & Cloning Be able to design and develop secure access to objects in Snowflake with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)  Able to provide recommendation on Snowflake best practices for management, monitoring, and optimization  Good Understanding of data replication for data sharing across accounts and for failover scenarios  Practical knowledge on how to Share data securely both within and outside your organization Hands on experience with Shell scripting and Python. Diagnose Database problems and implement Solutions. Experience working with Snowflake Support for raising tickets and triaging outages Be able to review DDLs and apply standards. Good Understanding of Snowflake ODBC, JDBC drivers as well as SnowSQL in terms of usage as well as troubleshooting any issues. Experience with Development Tools like Jenkins/Ansible to create CI/CD Ability to maintain and follow a run book with has documentation related all the tasks as well as   Database standards Provide Technical Leadership, mentoring to team in IndiaL3 on-call Support on rotational basis  Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree or 8-10 years of experience working in the field of IT, specifically as Database Administrator 2+ years experience as Snowflake DBA. This should a complete hands-on experience. Snow Pro Core Certification preferred  Other Information:  Operating Systems: Windows, UNIX, Linux,   Database Systems:  Snowflake, MS-SQL, Oracle,
