Job Title SFDC Business Analyst (PRM)

Duties SFDC Business Analyst will primarily focus on the implementation PRM application on SFDC Platform thus requiring in-depth knowledge of SFDC Platform with understanding of out of the box, configuration and customization options and limitations. This person will work as liaison between Business and IT/Development. In addition this person will be responsible for:

Creating and Documenting Business Requirements, Use Cases and Functional Specifications including detailed process flows

Working with Business and IT stakeholders, propose solutions meeting business needs and minimizing SFDC customizations

Creating, documenting and Executing (UAT) Test Plans, Test Scripts and Test Results

Managing UAT sessions and Project communication

Issue Management and Tracking

Status Reporting and Tracking

Setting and Managing Expectations

Skills Overall experience of 6-8 years as a business analyst Strong experience as a BA in PRM implementation projects using SalesForce.com (SFDC) in a large software company for 3-4 years. In-depth knowledge of SFDC Platform and Concepts in relation to PRM Thorough understanding of various data base technologies. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills

Responsibilities:

Development and implementation of Data Integration (ETL) and BI programs within the Small Project (SMP) team to support different partners and different initiatives including effective campaign segmentation and analytics, data mining, modeling and profiling to turn disparate points of data into information and actionable metrics

Work with the technology project teams to implement new functionality to support business needs.

Implement technical data requirements for integrating partner data to be used for marketing campaigns.

Develop, maintain and support the data exchange process between GSI and email service provider to support campaign management ensuring data quality and integrity. â¿¢ Importing client data files into Oracle (10g) databases.

Processing large data files in a UNIX environment.

Writing scripts, functions and stored procedures using SQL or Oracle PL/SQL.

Performing quality assurance checks.

Updating databases to ensure data integrity.

Provide technical support and respond to error reports, problems or questions.

Adhere to defined SLA for project delivery.

Qualifications:

Years of experience: 5+ years.

BS/BA in Computer Science or related discipline required.

At least 5 years of technical experience with databases, data warehousing and BI tools .

3 years of experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Datastage, Talend etc.

3 years of experience with reporting and analytics tools â¿¿ OLAP tools, Business Objects, Cognos, Microstrategy.

3 years Oracle Database and Oracle PL/SQL experience.

Candidates with Pentaho and Talend experience will be given a strong preference.

Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting, java programming preferred but not essential.

Strong understanding of relational database concepts & technology â¿¿ data modeling (dimensional/snowflake), SQL, query optimization, data warehouse architecture.

Experience with setup, configuration, design best practices, performance optimization, team based development approaches with a leading ETL/BI tool.
