Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, and four years test engineering experience with two years of experience working on complex projects.
Two years of experience leading and mentoring test staff; or an equivalent combination of education and five years test engineering experience with two years of experience working on complex projects and two years of experience leading and mentoring test staff; or seven years of experience in test engineering, two years of experience working on complex time-boxed projects and two years of experience leading and managing test staff.
This position requires 2-3 years of test automation or development experience using an object oriented language, preferably Java or C#.
Must Have Skills:
- Experience using Rational Software's suite of products (Manual Tester, Functional Tester, Performance Tester, version 7.0 or higher)
- Experience with Agile test methodology
- Experience with test automation development, creation and execution
- Experience writing automated testing scripts
- Experience working with business partners in writing detailed test plans
- Experience with defect entry, management and stakeholder communication
Able to work well with business customers and IT partners.
Technically proficient in core technologies and methodologies used by the team.
Able to work with minimum direction.
Able to plan and manage his/her own work.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
