This position is for a long-term project for a customer in justice and law enforcement. The successful candidate will work with other  resources and the customer to perform deep-dive analysis on multiple Java/Oracle applications, most of which are well over a decade old. This analysis will yield a comprehensive understanding of the applications and include sufficient documentation and models. Following the analysis, the team will provide an actionable architectural roadmap and build a modern, extensible enterprise application.

 

Qualifications:

Must have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience within the last ten (10) years on the following:

1- Developing enterprise applications using frameworks such as Spring and J2EE.

2 – Experience with service-oriented or event-driven architecture.

3 – Designing and building relational databases using Oracle and performing data conversion.

4 – Building design models to help lead development.

 

The position allows for remote work from California only. Likely in early 2022, the customer expects resources to begin working on-site.
