Job Description:
Primary responsibilities include providing support and expertise in BOBJ / Business Objects development, including building universes, developing reporting in WEBI, Crystal, and Xcelsius. Should be knowledgeable using Live Office. Should have significant SQL knowledge/experience.
Should be able to deliver simple to complex reporting capabilities, based on user/project requirements. Work very closely with other teams to gather requirements and promote reporting developed in user environment into production, following any established Governance guidelines.
Secondary responsibilities include design, development of transactional and analytical data constructs/structures. Included within those responsibilities are the areas of data access and delivery technologies. May provide technical support on data warehouse teams. Data set sizes are usually huge (in excess of millions of records). Demonstrated ability to move from one sequential assignment to the next (work environment and priorities can change quickly depending on business needs). Demonstrated ability to move data between systems and across multiple platforms.
5+ years experience developing Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence solutions
5+ years experience in SQL querying
3+ years experience with major reporting/querying tool Business Objects
1+ year experience Financial Services clients
Experience coordinating others work while involved with multiple work streams
