Looking for SQL Server DBA/Developer with 8+yrs profile

Location: Sacramento, CA

Duration: 6 + Months

Rate: Open

No of positions: 3

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Install, configure and support SQL databases for Business Systems environments

·         Monitor database space and capacity, estimate sizing and growth requirements

·         Database performance tuning, review & tune complex SQL statements

·         Maintain Backup and Recovery procedures

·         Assume ownership of database related problems; pursue short and long-term problem resolution and root cause analysis

·         Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to solve database level issues including availability and stability of the database environments

·         Work with vendors or application support teams to gather information, determine and implement resolutions

·         Proactively research and identify database level patches and upgrades

·         Provide 24/7 on call and or onsite support

·         Maintain standard operating procedures specifically focused on stable database environments

The online SQL test requirement remains for this position as well.
