Role: Hadoop Admin
Location-Atlanta, GA or Dallas, TX
Duration – Long term 1+ years
Rate: $55/hr
At least 2-3 years in Hadoop Administration
Job Responsibilities:
· Providing hardware architectural guidance, planning and estimating cluster capacity, and creating roadmaps for Hadoop cluster deployment
· Provisioning, installing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining HDFS, Yarn, HBase, Flume, Sqoop, Oozie, Pig, Hive, and Storm-Yarn
· Patching and upgrading Cloudera and Hortonworks clusters
· Hardening Hadoop clusters for deployments into production environments
· Recovering from node failures and troubleshooting common Hadoop cluster issues
· Scripting Hadoop package installation and configuration to support fully-automated deployments
· Supporting Hadoop developers and assisting in optimization of map reduce jobs, Pig Latin scripts, Hive Scripts, and HBase ingest Required
