Description

The role of a System DBA is to provide execution in developing, testing and implementing database tables, views and stored procedures, as well as executing routine database administration tasks to ensure performance and compliance. This System DBA role will focus on operational support and change requests as needed, leveraging strong database coding skills to create reliable and maintainable database solutions. This role will also uphold database coding standards through example, communication and code review.

 

Required Qualifications:

•         At least 7-10+ year experience as a System DBA or Application DBA experience within a Windows Enterprise environment required

•         Experience developing, executing, maintaining ETL programs

•         A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Management Information Systems or Information Technology domain in a database related role

·         Visual Studio development experience

•         Possess strong technical aptitude with a desire to focus on database related tasks

·         Strong SQL server technical skills

·         Strong System DBA or Application DBA experience

·         complete upgrade to SQL 2017 VM servers (currently in progress)

·         complete migration to Azure cloud
