Job Location :- Remote
 
Job Description :-
 
Role involves the following functions :
 
1)Convert design requirements into technical implementation details.
2)Automate building solutions for Kubernetes.
3)Build Continuous Integration/Continuous deployment pipelines for applications.
4)Build & operate highly reliable & scalable platforms.
5)Troubleshoot technical issues, provide efficient long-term solutions including performance tuning & monitoring improvements
6)Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.
7)Understand and implement security and data protection.
8)Apply your knowledge of Cloud based solutions, especially IBM or AWS and related Services
 
Requisite Skills:
 
1)Experience in Virtualization using Docker and Kubernetes
2)Strong grasp of Git, CI/CD, creating Jenkins jobs.
3)Should have worked with Travis, Artifactory, private image registries/Quay.
4)Experience working with Automation tools like Terraform and/or Ansible
5)Scripting using Python, Bash or similar.
6)Skill in using Kubernetes monitoring tools like Prometheus and Datadog.
7)Good understanding of networking protocols: DNS, HTTP, SSL, SFTP, TCP and UDP.
8)Working knowledge of Data systems like Postgres, Elasticsearch, Kafka, MongoDB, etc
 
Recommended:
 
1)Experience with Networking or Security aspects of Kubernetes
2)Good grasp of block and object storage and technologies like Ceph, Rook etc or backup
3)Experience in building Helm Charts and/or Ansible Operators for Kubernetes/OpenShift.
