PRODUCT OWNER ROLE
Location – Weehawken NJ – ONSITE ROLE
Roles & responsibilities:
as deposit pod product owner, lead, define, and execute an agile roadmap in support of the deposit business with a focus to drive growth and flexibility.
work in an agile delivery, creating user stories, requirements and JIRA user stories to support the creation of new wealth management banking deposit products as well as change management for existing products.
partner with colleagues across the organization to identify, start-up and develop ideas that enhance the banking value prop, drive adoption and business growth, ensuring alignment with the banks strategic plan.
Work with business team and product leads to understand business strategies and develop OKR's (objective and key results) as well as KPI's (key performance indicators) each quarter.
responsible for delivering platform enhancements; manage the interrelationships between projects, identifying risks and resolving issues; ensure there is a structured delivery strategy with the deposits banking platform.
establish cadence and coordination across technology and business on new development execution; create, maintain, and execute communication plans on platform changes.
work across multiple downstream teams to ensure our deposit products, changes and new initiatives are seamlessly integrated into risk, finance, databases and other regulatory reports.
manage and influence stakeholders work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions to roadblocks.
· Key requirements:
strong analytical and project management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into technology requirements
exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
experience in documenting detailed business requirements
understand traditional waterfall and AGILE technology development
superior follow-up and documentation skills, ability to run meetings and respectfully hold individuals accountable
a strong leader, communicator and strategic thinker
a self-starter with urgency, and personal accountability
comfortable working independently, as well as in a collaborative environment
an excellent communicator, listener and problem solver
