Job Description –
Join our internal IT team as an ERP Developer Senior, where you'll be responsible for architecting, researching, designing, developing complex Workday solutions! In this role, you will be a member of the ERP & General Government Solutions team that works with various stakeholders to manage and support several Workday integrations. We are looking for self-starters, those who can work independently, and collaboratively across the teams. You will coordinate with business teams, BSA's and vendors to produce detailed specifications and develop application and integration code to move data in and out of Workday and other ERP systems. Workday, TRIRIGA, Questica, Jaggaer are the County's core ERP Applications that integrate with other various applications used throughout the County allowing you to use your diverse skill set in sharing data among a variety of systems and applications across multiple lines of business.
You will work closely with the Workday functional teams , other developers, and subject matter experts to understand functional requirements and conduct unit tests and document findings.
Scope of Work: Design and develop interfaces and conduct unit and integration tests.
Provide support for Workday inbound and outbound integration issues, changes to existing integrations and develop new integrations.
Provide support for incident management and daily monitoring of integrations.
Perform routine break/fix support, regression testing and support the inbound/outbound interfaces to the WD and vendor systems.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, coding, compose clear documentation and problem resolution.
Analyze and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
Create and maintain technical specifications and design documents for complex application architecture.
Ensure integrations function as designed based on functional and technical requirements.
Consult with business and technical teams about interface design and maintenance; collaborate on design decisions.
Understand and follow data governance and ensure attention to data quality.
Understand and follow defined integration/development standards and best practices.
Understand and ensure security and data privacy standard
Will act as a technical expert in our ERP software and provide expert guidance and solutioning to business partner needs or requirements.
Possess a thorough and nuanced comprehension of the County's objectives and aspirations as outlined in its vision and strategic plans, particularly as they pertain to the ERP core suite of applications and the business objectives they aim to address.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Must have a bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and 5+ years of related work experience.
Experience with major ERP Applications ( Workday, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite etc ) development and integration tools that cover multiple functional areas of work such as Finance, HR, Procurement, Budgeting, Assets etc.
Experience with integration architecture, design, tools and relational database technologies.
Experience with Web Services and APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST and WS standards).
Technical experience with JSON, XML,XSLT etc.
Experience with database architecture, tables, functional interactions, and recognize and understand impacts to downstream systems.
Proficient in ERP core business processes.
Experience in project management, business analysis, gather and document requirements, perform UAT and obtain sign-off for production deployment.
Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members and leadership.
Strong attention to detail, problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle both planned and unplanned responsibilities.
Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Ability to communicate, work and coordinate with third parties on data related inquiries.
Nice to Have:
Experience in Workday integrations and implementation tools (Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields and Workday Studio). Experience in Workday Security preferred.
Understanding of .Net , Azure Integration technologies.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
