I have 3 openings and this is with our actual client.

 

Start Date is ASAP

 

1. Establish and maintain ETL development standards and best practices.
2. Participate in business and technical Requirement Gathering and Analysis.
3. Participate in the development and documentation of all ETL -related activities, environmental specifications, ETL strategy, Recommendations on tool selection, and code migration.
4. Ensure consistence in ETL development and deployment methodology.
5. Identify opportunities for job optimization, job schedule enhancements, and environmental performance.
6. Establish and maintain Data Warehouse Database Design standards and best practices.
7. Participate in physical database design for all Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives.
8.Demonstrates advanced/expert knowledge of Data Warehouse / DSS / ETL design principles.
9. Has hands on experience mentoring less experienced employees in design.

Job Purpose: Data Management
1. Creates/maintains physical database models in support of enterprise data reporting
2. Supports multiple ETL//DBMSs, many of which have high availability demands, highly critical and/or complex to support
3. Prevents problems by implementing proactive measures
4. Leads the process of creating and maintaining physical data models. Includes definition/ management of a repository, leading periodic IM reviews, keeping track of issues for future analysis/updates, etc.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree in related discipline required
2. Strong experience in the full development life-cycle of Data Warehouse projects
3. Designing and developing ETL processes
4. Expertise in relation database design (normalized and dimensional)
5. Business Objects Data Integrator
