Under general supervision, works on moderately complex IT architecture projects with full competency.
Applies hardware engineering and software design theories and principles in researching, designing, and developing product hardware and software interfaces.
Provides integrated systems planning and recommends innovative technologies that will enhance the current system.
Recommends appropriate desktop, computer platform, and communication links required to support IT goals and strategy.
Typically requires a technical Bachelor's Degree and two to three years of related experience.

Required skills:
6+ years in Software Development, preferably in large scale enterprise projects
6+ years with Oracle 9i/10g and PL/SQL, including performance tuning and query optimization
6+ years developing Oracle databases
6+ years developing data management strattgies, including data modeling, integration and ETL.
Must demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of relational databases
Knowledge of Web-based applications
Oracle Forms 10g experience preferred but not required
Education: BA or BS degree required
Software Developer Intermediate 6.0 Required
System Development Methodology Intermediate 6.0 Required
Architect Intermediate 6.0 Required
Additional Qualifications:
Strength in designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle 10g database schemas and generalized scripts, including views, triggers, and stored procedures.
Strength in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processing (coding, logging, audit reporting, event notification, etc.)
Create technical documentation such as design documents, specifications, software architecture documents, and instructions -Work in a team environment using a structured development process and deliver on time and within budget. -Follow up with issues in an efficient manner, including working hand in hand with Quality Assurance, Project Management and/or Business Analysis.
Regularly communicate project progress, issues, and risks to project manager.
Strength in troubleshooting issues in a timely manner is a must.
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Candidate must show a proven track record and be able to work in a very fast paced environment.
Ability to estimate, plan, lead and execute complex technical projects.
Demonstrated ability to obtain and apply domain area knowledge quickly.
Experience building high-performance Oracle PL/SQL applications.
Experience performance tuning and trouble-shooting in a secure environment
Possession of excellent interpersonal skills with a "can-do" attitude
Ability to contribute to a team in both a strategic and tactical capacity
Self-starter that can operate in a fast-paced environment with quick turnarounds, changing requirements, and weekly deliverables
Ability to work well individually and in a team environment -Ability to transfer knowledge and advise other developers
Experience with business development, cultivating capabilities, and identifying opportunities and strategies
Experience with troubleshooting and problem resolution -Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
