TIBCO Business Connect - REMOTE WORK

Duration: 3 Months+

Rate: OPEN(Keep it as low)

Start :April 1st 2011

WORKING HOURS: 8-5 (EST)  

Scope of Work:

The Consultant will implement a working solution including TIBCO Business Connect v5.3 / EDI protocol 5.4 in a fail-over scenario in a Development environment and will assist McKesson through knowledge transfer of the solution:

- Active/Active and/or Active/Passive topology

- Segregated Administrative Domain

- Smart routing for some transactions

- Split database (trace/audit/data)

Tasks/Activities (weeks as indication of expected of time spent):

1. Review existing client existing Architecture (Business Connect / Business Works / EMS) and also existing Client monitoring and Hawk rulebases and help identify additional monitoring needs. Understand Client requirements and future use of the solution to define Target Architecture (1 week)

2. Develop, in collaboration with the Client, the new proposed architecture to deploy Business Connect in a clustered/fault-tolerance environment with existing Client processes. (1 week)

3. Implement (configure/deploy) Business Connect instances and dependencies with Database, EMS and Business Connect in a distributed environment. (2-3 weeks)

4. Document target Architecture and design to be implemented. (1 day)

5. Assist in configuring additional Hawk rulebases or monitoring based on reviewed documentation. (2 days)

6. Assist Client in testing additional monitoring rules. (1 day)

7. Document production deployment for Client operations team - template. (1 day)

Assumptions:-

The Consultant has a robust experience with the TIBCO Business Connect v5.X / EDI protocol products implemented in a clustered/fail-tolerant environment (3 years minimum)

The Consultant has experience with TIBCO Business Connect deployed as a DMZ (AS2 proxy server separated from the Business Connect Internal Server)

The Consultant has a good experience with peripheral software such as Hawk, Rendez-vous, EMS and Business works

The Consultant has a good experience of UNIX platform. McKesson is using IBM AIX v6 64bit 6 weeks operating system running under Power Series (pSeries) virtualized hardware.

The Consultant possesses very good English oral and written skills

The Consultant possesses very good teamwork abilities and communicates easily with others

The Consultant is autonomous, knows how to get answers and his able to execute.
