Informatica Administrator for one of our large financial clients.

Location:  Must be within a commutable distance to Columbus, OH.

Interview:  Position requires an in-person / Skype interview

Contract Length:  6 months with the possibility of extensions!

 

Description:

      Plans, architects, designs HA/Grid Informatica ETL environment for data warehouse / integration.

      Install and configure Informatica server software in HA/Grid Environment.

      Setup and configure Informatica domains, services (repository, Integration, Metadata manager, Data Analyzer, Data

      Integration, Model Repository etc).

      Implement procedures to maintain, monitor, backup and recover operations for ETL environment.

      Report regularly on health and performance of ETL environment and jobs.

      Conduct ETL optimization, troubleshooting and debugging.

      Maintain ownership of release activities interacting with ETL projects.

      Perform CODE DEPLOYMENTS of ETL jobs across various ETL projects and servers.

      Provide Application support to ETL application development teams.

 

Required Skills:

As Informatica Admin, candidate should be proficient in:

      Installation and configuration of Informatica Power Center in Grid and High availability environment on UNIX (AIX,Solaris)

      Should be proficient with UNIX scripting, NFS shares, Disaster recovery setup experience.

      Should be able to coordinate with Informatica Support for updating patches and resolving issues

      Should be able to coordinate with various teams (DBA/UNIX/Support) to handle the Informatica server related issues, outages and maintenance activities

      Experience on version Power Center 9.X for at least 1 +years

      Should have strong experience with Real time version, Web services,

      Should be proficient with configuring repositories and source/target connections with various databases (DB2, Oracle, Sybase, MSACCESS, Teradata, Sql Server)

 

Preferred Skills:

      Mortgage banking experience

      Working knowledge of ILM and Power exchange.

      Working Knowledge of IDQ and IDE
