General Information Job Description: Specializes in Java- Has experience in the development, maintenance, and testing of software programs. Responsibilities include Coding, testing, and debugging application programs from functional specifications. These individuals will work from program specifications or prototypes * Works under the direction of a team leader, senior technical person or analyst. (5+ years) Position Comments: The role is for a senior developer in the Fixed Income Middle Office team within Operations IT. The position requires a self-starter, dedicated to a high level of customer service, who can operate independently in a dynamic environment. As a senior developer, the applicant will engage in all aspects of the software life-cycle and will interact with users in a fast-paced iterative development cycle. Engage in all aspects of the software life-cycle for Middle Office projects: • Work closely with business users to gather clear requirements • Collaborate to design and architect solutions with the team • Build solutions using best-practice development standards and tools • Collaborate to build and execute test plans • Assist support teams and engage in Level 3 support
