Job Title: System Software Programmer

Location: Columbia/South Carolina

Duration: 3 months+

(Certification Must / 10+ Years Exp)

Scope of Project: Our client has an immediate need for a software developer with a background that includes .Net and C# and SQL Server technologies to develop a solution that will eliminate manual and paper driven processes within our Career and Technology office. They are particularly looking for a senior developer that has knowledge and experience with MVC framework. This senior developer will be responsible for the analysis, design, coding, unit testing and documentation of specific application components in support of SCDE CATE project assigned by project manager. Programmer will produce pieces of or all of the solution architecture documentation package and participate in the build, release, and deployment of scripts. Install/deploy code or stage code for deployment.

DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Review, analyze, and assess the current development of the CATE Application in order to continue development and determine if additional resources are required to meet the project deadlines.

2) Designs, codes, and tests application components and modules for completion of web based Sections B and C of the CATE application, including LEA Indicator and Performance Level entry, Amendment request, Reimbursement request and Administrative Approval and Denial for both Federal and State funds. Create deployment packages utilizing enterprise versioning software in support of upgrades, migrations and custom application remediation. Test and distribute deployment of code and solutions on to target test servers and production servers. The following needs to be completed for both Section B (Federal) and C (State):

a) Add New, Edit existing, Submission of, Approval of and Return of Amendment items;

b) Add New, Edit existing, Submission of, Approval of and Return of Reimbursement items;

c) Data Validations on all Amendment and Reimbursement items;

d) Administrative tools, such as review and analysis, into the Section B and C data;

e) Enter, Agreement to, Submission of, Approval of and Return of Perkins Indicators and Levels of Performance.

3) Integrates software, tests and modifies components and application modules produced by outside vendors, contractors, suppliers, or other entities, so that these modules perform as designed in the agency environment.

4) Analyze complete code for integrity and completeness, and communicates any issues or concerns or praise to the management and project manager.

5) Report progress weekly to management and project manager.
