Position: Informatica Administrator
Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Duration: 1 Year

 

Responsibilities include

·         Responsible for installing, configuring, upgrading and maintaining a scalable and high performing Informatica solution (Power Center 8.6.1,9.x) in support of business processing requirements

·         Determines systems/VM resource requirements, recommends technologies to meet overall corporate and business unit requirements

·         Develops, maintains, and delivers operational Key Performance Metrics reports to IT Management and internal customers for Availability, Performance, and Capacity management

·         Maintaining the users, roles, and permissions for accessing Informatica

·         Managing the deployment/migration of Informatica objects

·         Creating backups of Informatica code sets

·         Managing Informatica versioning and check out/in procedures

·         Coordinating a disaster Recovery test and plan

• Performance tuning of mappings, which will require some background on the Database(s) being used

·         Work with IT Application Operations team for Informatica Infrastructure support and upgrade

·         Performs software installations and upgrades to Informatica software packages

·         Maintain high availability and performance for production environments

·         Responsible for backup, recovery and tuning of application

·         Define operational processes for Run book and SOP documentation, automating routine operational tasks
