Duration: 3 Months Contract

Location: Mendota Heights, MN

 

Job Description:.

 

Acts as the highest-level technical expert on the development and implementation of highly complex, large-scale internet and intranet applications on diverse platforms, crossing multiple business lines. 

Uses expert knowledge of web technologies, including C++, Java, Java Script, HTML, CGI, XML, Perl, ASP, multimedia applications, database modeling tools and/or database interactions.  

Evaluates systems specifications for client area web site requirements and determines and implements the most efficient and cost-effective software/package solution. 

Provides leadership in researching and tracking new web technologies, developing service applications, and analyzing business requirements as they pertain to web-based systems.

Oversees system quality assurance and consistency with installation and security policy and standards. 

Provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff.:

10+ years web development experience which includes the programming/ development of web applications.

 

 

·         4 Year degree (or equivalent work experience) plus 7-10 years software engineering experience.

·         Web Development: Java; XML; HTML; ASP; SQL; C# .Net; Microsoft IIS

·         3+ years of experience with object-oriented programming in JavaScript.

·         Experience with AJAX and JavaScript frameworks like jQuery, YUI, Sencha or Dojo. We need strong experience, not merely “used it”. If you have contributed to any of these frameworks, it is a big plus.

·         Proficiency with HTML and CSS and how to integrate in a standards-based fashion with each other and JavaScript. HTML5 and CSS3 experience is a big plus.

·         Experience with cross-platform (PC/Mac, desktop, laptop, tablet) and cross-browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari) development.

·         Experience with JSON and RESTful web services.

·         Understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
