5-7 years of experience as a software engineer/programmer

    Strong understanding of MVC and service oriented architectures

    Strong background working on projects using Agile methodologies

    Strong background in JSFExperience writing unit tests

    Financial services background preferred (but not required)

    Java, EJB, Servlets, JDBC, JSP, JSF

    Spring Framework (SpringMVC, Spring Security, etc..)

    Freemarker, JQuery, HTML5, JavaScript

    REST and SOAP service development (Jersey)

    Coherence Cache and GRID implementation

    Spring Batch

    XML, XSL, XSLT, XSD, JAXB

    Apache Tomcat, WebLogic

    Oracle, PL/SQL

    Gradle

    jUnit and mocking frameworks

    Source control systems such as Rational Team Concert and Starteam

    Detail oriented

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) to a variety of audiences including: business partners, project teams and other technical teams

    Willing to provide product demonstrations to business partners as part of agile reviews.

    Strong commitment to quality

    Ability to multi-task effectively across several projects and assignments

    Passionate about technology and solving problems with technology

    Ability to provide development estimates for user stories
