Location : Austin,TX
Duration : 5 Months
The worker will perform highly complex systems and business analysis to complete software test activities for all test phases of a software development project. The worker reviews, analyzes, evaluates and develops test plans and scenarios based on business and system requirements to ensure traceability; monitors and performs system testing; and facilitates user acceptance testing. The worker coordinates with IT and business project teams to identify and document software defects and works with developers to coordinate defect solutions. Work is accomplished in a highly collaborative environment.
WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:

| 8 | Experience and skill in writing software specifications, gathering and analyzing business requirements and coordinating with business and technical groups to develop complex test scenarios, automated test scripts and test plans using testing tools for software specifications. |
| 8 | Experience executing test plans and script reviews and assists team members in performing and completing test activities, monitors and performs system testing, and facilitates user acceptance testing. |
| 8 | Experience coordinating the review of test plans, scripts and results of system testing performed by 3rd party vendor. |
| 8 | Experience identifying, analyzing and documenting software defects; assists developers in analyzing and resolving defects. |
| 8 | Experience participating in various software development reviews and provides advice and assistance to other team members in analysis, design, and test. |
| 8 | Experience assisting in developing and monitoring project plans and schedules; assists project managers in making assignments and managing project tasks. |
| 8 | Experience in testing mainframe software applications. |
| 8 | Experience using Rational Quality Manager test tool or similar software testing tool. |
| 8 | Thorough knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies. |
| 8 | Considerable skill in effective verbal and written communications with other computer professionals and clients. |
| 8 | Considerable skill in using a computer with various word processing, spreadsheet and database software. |
| 8 | Experience analyzing and problem solving. |
| 8 | Extensive skill in planning and organizing work to meet goals and complete multiple assignments without compromising accuracy. |
| 8 | Ability to establish and maintain effective and professional working relationships with others at all times in the course of conducting business |
