Develop and implement application services and integrations to support the Day-Ahead Re-Run project.  Able to take development directives from senior level design and development resources in a small project team environment.  Follows approved life cycle methodologies and performs program coding and testing.  Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within Java and web based development. 

Strong communication skills, adept in working with small, highly focused and autonomous teams.

 

Skills

Java Development Experience- 5 yrs	Required	5	Years
Proficiency with Spring Framework, Hibernate, Maven, Tomcat, Eclipse	Required

 

Proficiency with Producing/consuming Restful Web services	Required
Proficiency with designing/implementing UI/UX with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript	Required

 

Familiarity with client presentation frameworks like jQuery, AngularJS, Backbone.js or Bootstrap	Highly desired
Familiarity with familiar with VMware and VMware Administration	Highly desired

 

Software Development Life Cycle	Desired
Software development best practices like code review, unit testing and continuous integration (CI)	Desired

 

Experience in the Energy Market and Industry
