We are looking for a IT Risk Specialist to support world's leader in providing IT consulting and software services to the finest global organizations client.
This is a 6 Months Contract extendible Position based in Jersey city, NJ.
Role: IT Risk Specialist
Location: Jersey city, NJ
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Job Description:
· Proven IT Risk management/information security experience.
· Broad knowledge of IT/ Operational Risk Management across IT.
· Exceptional communications skills, particularly in translating complex technical issues into business relevant language.
· Track record of implementing effective control solutions; proven experience in evaluating and designing acceptable control plans with External Service Providers/ Vendors.
· Good understanding, supported by practical experience, of risk and control frameworks.
· Understanding of the additional challenges of risk and control in an environment of significant change.
· Risk management experience gained in a financial services environment would be desirable.
· Certifications: CRISC, CISM, CISA, etc. a plus; hands-on experience with Industry accepted IT Control frameworks (e.g. ISO 17799 / COSO / COBIT) required.
