Role: Cisco Security Administrator

Location: Columbia, SC

Duration: 1 Year

 

·        Network Security Engineers for DTO/Network Services/Network Security. Provides installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of network security devices in the Local Area, Wide Area and Metropolitan Area Networks.

·        Will test new and modify network security configurations hardware and software.

·        Will provide network security consulting services to other state agencies.

·        Candidate must possess experience with Cisco's 5500-X Series (5525-x and 5585-x preferred) running in a multi-context environment and/or must possess experience with Juniper's SSL/VPN MAG 2600, 4510 or 6611.

·        Must have experience with Juniper's SRX240 running in cluster mode.

·        Candidate must have proficient oral and written communication skills.

·        Must be able to work on projects individually or part of a team.

·        Candidate must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays. Candidate will be required to be on-call 24 hours a day on a rotating schedule for the length of the contract.
