Job Description:
GSS team will be working on a new deployment of call routing hardware and software on the Genesys platform. We will need a QE person who has tested Genesys before and can help lead us through the learning stages of the solution, and then execute against test plans to achieve our quality goals. This person should have several years of Genesys testing experience, ideally with some initial deployment situations. The candidate will also need to have demonstrated QE lead experience on one or more major projects, and have good communication skills. Proactively looking for issues, thinking of new ways to test, and generally driving a higher level of quality for this release are also expected.
Required Skills:
· 3-5 years of experience testing Genesys call routing software
· 1-3 years as a QA/QE lead
· Some experience with initial deployments of a Genesys solutions
· Expertise with the testing toolkit for Genesys
· A demonstrated understanding and ability to test the main functions of Genesys, including call and chat routing to the proper support agents based on skill sets (skill based routing), call/chat transfers, outbound calling, etc.
· Demonstrated the ability to create test strategies, write test plans, create test cases, test data, and test case execution
· Effective communication skills with peers and leadership
· Some Nice To Have's would be:
· An understanding of how to configure Genesys servers
· The ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues to the point of recommending and making changes to resolve the issue
· Past experience supporting load and performance testing and automation
· Empirix Hammer call generator experience
