Location:  Woodland Hills, CA

Duration: 6 months CTH === please provide yearly salary

Description:

Insurance is looking for a Business PMO Director who is responsive and self-motivated with effective time-management skills, for our Woodland Hills, CA office.

This person directs the prioritization and delivery of multiple programs and resources; Responsible for managing an entire department and the associated budget; Manages relationship with top business management as the key driver of strategic plan for build out of business system capabilities; Implements IT governance Accountable for delivery of work from all suppliers for multiple programs, including risk, quality, change management, schedule, and financial management; Accountable for work orders/cost estimates to/from suppliers and user acceptance; Manages achievement of SLA with suppliers; Oversees communication, escalation, and financial impact management, when SLAs are not met.

 

Position Requirements

Carries out strategic human resource management and leads a senior group of managers and/or specialists· Planning + Controlling: Contributes to global strategic planning on a long term basis· Business Results: Identifies and pursues significant business and efficiency opportunities· Governance: Defines organizational governance (e.g. sets up new processes and guidelines)· Relationship Management: Is able to build relationships with internal (& external) business partners in order to create new solutions

 

Position Specific.

Directs the overall prioritization of multiple programs and resources; Responsible for managing an entire department and the associated budget· Is the key driver of strategic plan for build out of business system capabilities· Manages relationship with Senior Executives from business, supplier(s), and ISP.

 

Key Skills:

 

This is a Business PMO opportunity.

 

This position includes: Business Project Managers with overall Project and IT Governance.

 

Required: PMP certification or strong project management skills required. A strong process oriented focus, a business facing with high energy, good organization skills and communication skills.

Insurance knowledge is desirable.

Ideally looking for someone with 15 years of experience, of which 5-7 years in management.

 

Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent or specific relevant experience.
