Position Title:                   SR PHP Software Developer

Position Location:           McLean, Virginia

Duration                              6 months

 

Summary of Duties:                      

Client is looking for a talented software developer who is in the market and interested in developing custom application software for a dynamic global company. 

 

The job duties will include

·         Participating in the full software development life cycle, such as requirement analysis, design, and implementation, enhancements, validation and production support of Client websites, mobile apps, databases and backend systems.

·         Participate in all aspects of Web and mobile application design and development, including prototyping, user interface design, user experience design, front-end and back-end programming.

·         Write good quality code that is scalable and extensible.

·         Implement as well as consume SOAP based web services that implement business logic. Design database schemas;  

·         Installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting of software in multiple environments.

 

Qualifications:                                 

Requires a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field and five years of experience in following technologies: 

•             PHP, HTML, HTML5, SQL, XML, JavaScript/JQuery, Bootstrap, CSS and ASP.NET programming languages.

•             Experience with MySQL, including designing database schemas, and writing complex stored procedures, queries, and views.

•             Implementation of SOAP web services.

•             Experience with content management systems and experience with responsive design and development.

•             Strong object oriented programming skills and ability to analyze new requirements.
