Position #1: Junior Front End Developer – Philadelphia, PA

Client Interview Process = Phone and/or Skype (F2F interview w/ client in Philadelphia, PA not required)

Duration = thru year-end, possible extension in 2016

• 1 - 3 years experience as a front end developer (HTML, CSS, Javascript, Ruby on Rails)
• 1+ years Ruby on Rails experience
• Experience optimizing performance of advertising code and/or ad tags a huge plus
• Strong understanding of QA techniques/unit testing/web optimization
• Solid understanding of Javascript; some experience with JQuery a plus
• Experience working with RESTful services
• Familiarity with WebPageTest, yslow, and waterfall charts desired

Position #2: Java Web Application Developer (3 openings) – Sunnyvale, CA (MUST BE LOCAL for FACE TO FACE)

Client Interview Process = Phone and F2F IN SUNNYVALE, CA (F2F interview is required)

Duration = thru year-end, possible extension in 2016

 

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop applications delivered over an Internet protocol with services running on the JVM.
• Maintain existing applications by fixing escaped defects and enhancing the continuous delivery process.
• Deliver maintainable and scalable code that runs in a multithreaded environment.
• Participate with other engineers in design sessions and code reviews.
• Provide thorough automated test coverage for unit, functional and end-to-end coverage.
• Thrive in a dynamic agile development process.

Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of object-oriented concepts and language.
• Solid understanding of computer architecture and computer science fundamentals.
• Independent, organized, and able to work on multiple fast-paced projects at the same time
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively

Experience:

• 5+ years of Internet product development experience
• Extensive experience with a JVM based language, such as Java, Scala or Groovy.
• Experience in a Linux development environment.
• Experience using revision control systems, such as GIT.
• Experience building and consuming web-based services, particularly RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Internet protocols, specifically HTTP, TCP/IP.
• Familiarity with frontend development using HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
• BA/BS degree or higher in Computer Science or related field required
