Position:  Tableau Developer/ SAP BW

Duration:  3-6 Months

Location:  Philadelphia, PA

Experience:  6-8 yrs

 

H1B Copy Must

 

JD:

 

Ø  4+ years of experience in Tableau Development – Administration

Ø  2+ years of experience in SAP BW

Ø  Design and create visualizations using Tableau to make data actionable and facilitate decision making for the clients

Ø  Should have extensively worked on creating reports/dashboards by connecting to SAP BW

Ø  Should have working knowledge on creating reports/dashboards by connecting to BEx queries or to an InfoCube in SAP BW

Ø  Understand how to create and manipulate large data sets in the best format and structure to use within Tableau visualizations

Ø  Required to ensure the quality of each dashboard release, data refresh and adhere to a regular refresh and dashboard publishing schedule along with the ability to project manage the creation

                and delivery of additional dashboards/metrics to the client

Ø  Set up and manage security for the dashboard(s) based on project specific needs

Ø  Manage data input processes into Tableau through Excel, SQL, Access, and other data sources to develop a consistent method of obtaining, storing, structuring, and presenting data

Ø  Supporting team and end-users as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) through troubleshooting, recommendation solutions and identifying opportunities to solve business problems

Ø  Help determine best solution for presenting the visualizations to clients through web development, Flash, viewers, etc

Ø  Understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices.

Ø  Candidate should have strong Data Warehousing / BI background / SQL knowledge

Ø  Good SQL reporting skills with the ability to create SQL views and write SQL queries
