BEX Query Developer
- Ability to update or create BEX queries to be maximized to be used with Tableau
- Experience with SAP BW/Hana and HR data
- MDX debugging
- Ability to research and solution going from an aggregate report to a detail report
- Ability to combine multiple BEX queries spanning multiple info providers or data cubes
- ability to provide feedback on how to best set up BEx variables for proper presentation and interpretation
in a Tableau interface
- Understanding of SAP security with Tableau
Dashboard Builder
- Experience with HR dashboard creation using Tableau with a BW query source
- Experience creating mobile reports and dashboards
- Expert with Tableau Security and leveraging SAP and SAP BW security
- MDX and Java script knowledge
- Knowledgeable about use of live connections in Tableau, especially with connecting to SAP BW
- Expert in building visualizations based on data cubes and using a top-down approach, rather than a bottom-up
approach
- Knowledgeable about how to either (a) wrap a web application around Tableau dashboards or
(b) invoke parameterized web calls from Tableau to a third party tool
Portal Integration
- Ability to link dashboards and reports to an existing Comcast portal and/or SharePoint
- Experience with single sign on with Tableau and SAP BW through MDX
- Knowledge of Portal security
- Ability to integrate with mobile platform
- Integration portal with BOBJ
- Adhering to look and feel with next gen portal (fury tiles or new framework TBD)

4+ years of experience in Tableau Development – Administration
2+ years of experience in SAP BW
Design and create visualizations using Tableau to make data actionable and facilitate decision making for the clients
Should have extensively worked on creating reports/dashboards by connecting to SAP BW
Should have working knowledge on creating reports/dashboards by connecting to BEx queries or to an InfoCube in SAP BW
Understand how to create and manipulate large data sets in the best format and structure to use within Tableau visualizations
Required to ensure the quality of each dashboard release, data refresh and adhere to a regular refresh and dashboard publishing schedule along with the ability to project manage the creation
and delivery of additional dashboards/metrics to the client
Set up and manage security for the dashboard(s) based on project specific needs
Manage data input processes into Tableau through Excel, SQL, Access, and other data sources to develop a consistent method of obtaining, storing, structuring, and presenting data
Supporting team and end-users as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) through troubleshooting, recommendation solutions and identifying opportunities to solve business problems
Help determine best solution for presenting the visualizations to clients through web development, Flash, viewers, etc
Understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
Candidate should have strong Data Warehousing / BI background / SQL knowledge
Good SQL reporting skills with the ability to create SQL views and write SQL queries
