Job Title –  Oracle ODI
Location – San Francisco, CA
Duration – 6-12 Months

Job Description –

• Development experience in Extract, Transform & Load (ETL) projects using ODI (preferably 3 full life-cycle implementations)

• Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) version 11g or higher development experience.

• Implement ODI interfaces and scenarios for extracting and loading data from a variety of data sources/targets including Hyperion Planning, Essbase, Relational Database Management servers (including Oracle RDBMS, SQL Server), flat files (including CSV file format)

• Experience working with Oracle databases and SQL programming language

• Development of ODI packages that utilize Hyperion Planning and Essbase KMs

• Automate the ODI interfaces using batch process and MAXL scripting

• Develop and deploy ETL job workflow with reliable error/exception handling and rollback framework.

• Must have experience writing complex functional specifications including interfaces and custom programs, working with technical programmers to analyze defects and propose solutions.

• Perform the unit testing, system integration testing and assist with user acceptance testing

• Ensure data quality throughout entire ETL process.

• Develop system /integration test plans and scenarios for data loads and extracts.

• Mentor and train team member on ODI processes and procedures.

• Must be highly analytical, team player, ability to learn quickly, can prioritize and multi-task

• Must be self-starter and proactive, including managing deliverables, ability to work independently, understanding timelines and deadlines with minimal guidance

• Excellent English verbal and written skills are a must.

• Must show natural leadership skills, great organizational skills, and eagerness to drive deliverables to closure
