- At least 8 years of experience in Java/J2EE development, building enterprise web portal applications
- Experience in MVC and using other design patterns
- Strong experience working with Oracle Web Center Suite or a similar Portal
- Experience working with JSR-168 and JSR-286 portlets
- Experience with relational database such as Oracle, MS SQL Server or MySQL
- Experience with BEA WebLogic (9.x and 10.x) and JBoss EAP 5.x+
- Strong experience with AJAX using JQuery or other frameworks
- Knowledge of Spring and Hibernate
- Experience with Ant
- Experience with Web Services development
- Experience with testing tools and techniques such as JUnit and continuous integration
- Experience in HTML, Javascript and CSS
- Knowledge of secure coding standards and best practices
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance
