Position:            Liferay Developer

Location:             Chicago, IL

Duration:             Long term

Rate:                     $/hr

 

Development of web applications based on Liferay 6.0/6.2.

Knowledge on Application migration

Strong hands-on experience with JAVA/ J2EE technologies

Strong hands-on experience with Liferay 6.x

Experience with SOAP based and REST based web services nice to have

Hands on experience in Spring3.x with through understanding of IOC, DI, Spring JDBC and Spring Integration

Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript / AngularJS / EXTJS

Strong hands-on experience with web technologies such as JSP, web framework such as Struts 2 or any other MVC based frameworks.

Liferay MVC Portlet Development a strong plus.

Hands on experience in using ORM framework Hibernate 3.x

Experience in handling JSON data – a plus.

Ability to work with Relational Databases and write queries. Experience in working with Oracle 11g is an added advantage.

Knowledge of build tools like ANT and MAVEN is a must.

Exposure to continuous integration tools is a must such as Jenkins, cruise control and PYTHON scripting – a plus.

Knowledge in using JUnit for Unit testing and frameworks like Mockito for mocking.

Ability to do end-to-end troubleshooting of large multi-tier applications.

Exposed to ESB based integration / large scale enterprise integration.

Excellent communication skills paired with good analytical approach to problem solving

Code quality tools like PMD and Check Style
