This position works as part of a project team to gather business requirements and create functional specifications needed to re-engineer business processes or develop software applications that meet or exceed customer expectations. Business Analysts work primarily on more complex business processes or projects new to the company or division. These typically require business process re-engineering expertise and the ability to guide the approach and process for requirements gathering, business case development, and JAD sessions. Provide estimates to complete projects, identify and track scope changes, provide coordination between  departments, act as a liaison between Department and the end clients (both internal and external), and provide input to schedules.  May also manage updates to schedules, facilitate/lead team meetings, and coach, mentor or provide work direction to lower level analysts.

Qualifications:

·         5+ years business analysis experience

·         Demonstrated experience using a wide range or requirements gathering tools/techniques.

·         Experience with process reengineering, quality process improvement techniques, business project modeling techniques

·         Strong oral and written communication skills

·         Ability to lead projects and give work direction to others and work both independently and in teams
