Job Title: Business Intellegience Developer

They are looking for a Business Intelligence developer with Microstrategy experience.
This role will fulfill the need for an experienced Business Intelligence developer to participate in database and report development projects. This individual will develop reports in MicroStrategy, SQL stored procedures, work with SSIS packages, and ad hoc data mining queries, Finance and other business teams. The Business Intelligence Developer will also participate in reporting related activities with regard to Trading system and Operations system releases. This position requires that the candidate have an excellent understanding of relational database concepts and reporting tools.
Responsibilities:
• Data warehousing in SQL Server for trading data in order to report it into a BI Tool (MicroStrategy).
• Develops reports in MicroStrategy and has the ability to understand underlying data model.
• Works with MicroStrategy Desktop.
• Works directly with business analysts to ensure technical feasibility of all MIS related designs.
• Conducts adhoc data mining in support of the business.
• Makes technical recommendations to Business Analysts.
• Assists with end user support and enhancements.
• Provides billing/finance support for monthly/quarterly closes.
• SQL Server with emphasis on Stored Procedure development
• SQL Server SSIS.
• Stored Procedure performance tuning
• Relational DB Design
Technical Preferences:
• Familiar with full life-cycle in a Sarbanes Oxley regulated environment.
