Location: New York
Duration: 6-12 months *needs to be open to perm, even if they do no convert perm, they need to be open to it
Why open: Migrating 11 legacy platforms to Adobe Experience Manager
Important skills:
Tech – content management experience, AEM (adobe experience manager), able to gather requirements or define them when needed
Soft – lead projects, some leadership in development is needed
Interview process: phone, on-site
Dress code: Business casual
Must have:
• 7+ years of exp w/ content management experience
• 5+ yrs of exp w/ AEM or Adobe CQ
• Experience leading small team and/or projects
• Experience w/ some requirements gathering, helping define requirements, leading deployments
Day to Day:
The Principal/Lead AEM Developer will assist with migration of legacy platforms to AEM. They will be tasked to lead small projects (ex new feature roll-out) where they will lead 6-8 developers, help define requirements with the business and lead deployments. There is a lot of integration for content, this lead developer will work with many different stakeholder as well as with BA's to help develop solution.
The manager said they have a very large team of developers to help with the migration, what they really need are candidates that can be a lead, has experience leading projects and small groups of developers and can speak with the business to help define requirements when needed). They should also be able to give push-back to the business when needed.
