•             Position: Java with No-Sql DB

•             Location: Paramus, New Jersey

•             Contract – long term

•             Customer: UPS

 

Note: Java + Springboot + no-sql DB experiences. The no-sql database exp could be MongoDB, Couchbase, or Cassandra.

 

•             Spring Boot / Spring Cloud

o             Create REST services (APIs) keeping micro services design pattern in mind. The services will interact with Couchbase database so familiarity with NoSQL preferred

o             Create Integration services to consume/process data from other systems

o             Create CI/CD pipeline for the above services

o             Create relevant documentation for each of the services

o             Perform Design Reviews and Code Reviews

o             Provide real time knowledge transfer to UPS team

o             Provide to UPS best practices in design/coding/testing

o             Provide best practices for performance tuning

o             Provide best practices for distributed logging and aggregating them to have appropriate instrumentation for all of the above services.

o             Design the services so that they can run in a JEE environment but can also be easily migrated to PaaS environment

 

•             Skillset Needed

o             Hypermedia via HATEOAS and Spring MVC (Expert )

o             Spring Data (Advanced, prefer Couchbase)

o             Jackson (Expert level preferred, advanced acceptable)

o             Spring Boot (preferred)

o             Spring Cloud (preferred)
